Buy a truck and get a free AK-47 gun

That's the deal a Missouri truck dealer is offering new customers who buy a pickup truck in August.

Mark Muller, owner of Max Motors in Butler, said he knows people will be bothered by the promotion.

But not to worry, Muller is not handing out free guns.

"We're just not going to give people an AK-47 gun. Felons buy cars, too. What we are going to do is we're going to give them a voucher where they can go to their local gun dealer, or we have local gun dealers we would strongly recommend where they can buy a gun and go through the proper background checks so the guns wind up in the right hands," Muller told KMBC.

The AK-47 is an upgrade on a previous promotion in which Muller gave away vouchers for the price of a Caltec pistol.

"Last year we gave away a free handgun with the purchase of any vehicle, and it went over very well. It spiked our web traffic and we sold, we estimate, 35 extra cars during the promotion than we normally would have, and this year we're trying to sell an extra 100 cars more than we normally would," Muller said.

The retail value of an AK-47 is $450 but Muller said customers can spend their voucher on the gun of their choice.

these are not full auto, they are semi. It is not legal to own a machine gun in the USA
unless you go throw a FBI background check 6 months, and agree to the FFL license. which means that the ATF can search your house without a warrant any time they want to.

these are not for wild animals they are for protections.
i prefer to be prepared and never need it then to be unprepared an need it,
kinda like a cop on the phone are a gun in hand when someone is kicking your door in.

I Don't see anything wrong with it, i like the idea. As long as everyone goes trough the proper background checks and not mentally incapable in owning a gun.. I HAVE NEAR 50 GUNS a lot of them antique.. My favorite one in my collection is a very late war swp45 mauser 8mm riffle with 15 notches etched in the stock (you can guess why) of her.. I've already been offered $3,000 here recently for her but i wouldn't never sell her to anyone

Last year, they was these ppl one woman 2 guys that was going around.. the girl would knock on the door screaming help to get the ppl in the house to come outside to help her and when they open the door the guys jumps out and hit the older couple (they would only target the elderly people) and rob them.

A Few days after we see this on the news about 2am i was awoke with beating on my bed room window and screaming "GET OUT OF MY GODDAMN HOUSE" i jumped up grabbed my 2 pistols ran in to my granny's room (she was staying with me then) handed her a pistol and told her to call 911 and tell them someone is trying to break in.

While she was on the phone with the police i was running around the house looking out the windows and seen nothing. About 30mins later still no police but everything was come i was setting at the table near the door drinking a redbull granny opened the door to let her little dogs go out on the porch and pee. (The porch has 5 foot gate around it about about 20ft off the ground with no stairs)

i hear her calling for me "here she is, here she is i grabbed my pistol from the table and ran to see. This ***** must of been part spider woman because till this day i don't now how she got up there.. i told granny to get 911 back on the phone. and even i was kind of frighten not for me but for granny i knew i couldn't go down if this was these those ppl we heard about on the news and would done anything to protect her from getting hurt ...

her little dogs was trying to bite her trough the fencing (there is a 2 foot ledge from the fence where she could stand" and she wasn't even paying then no attention at all. she looked at me and said "who are you?" i said i ****ing live her lady" she i know goddamn well you don't this is my goddamn house" she would turn around and scream out " There over her" i couldn't see all the way around the house it was really dark and i thought to myself oh shit.. she kept trying to climb over the fencing i told her that she better not start over the fence because i would blow her back across it (and i would have) She said "Goddamn it i said their over her" i was standing about 6ft away shes already halfway over the fencing on the porch i pointed my gun over the top of her head a fired and dropped it right between her eyes and told her the next one going out the back of your head.. she looked at me with this craziest wildest look and climbed back down.

i got back inside granny she was still on the phone with 911

Fast forward

it is now 4am in the morning the one cop that showed up.. funny thing is that we live only 6miles away from the police station. The cop walked around the property and didn't find her.. about 5mins after he left he she was banging and screaming again. we called 911 again.. this time they was there that seem to take about only 2 mins 2 car loads..

She was screaming at the cops telling the it was her house (only been living her for 22 years) and screaming for them to lock me up...

Come to find out that she was my neighbors girl friend and he was out of town on a job when he found out he came down apologized on her behalf and said she get crazy like that because sometimes she mixes her meds with booze .. i told him that she was about to be dead if she came over the railing..

What really freaked me out is that she kept calling out to someone... if i seen someone come around the corner of the house i would of emptied that pistol in her face and tried to get whoever else it was. I'm not a mean person but i would do anything to protect them.. there was not a snowball chance in hell i was letting her over that railing .. i was trying to watch my back and her at the same time, it wasn't fun thinking someone at any minute was going to jump you from behind. I Think god no one came out from around the corner of the house.

Why do you need to own a gun?

Real life is not like cops on TV, because sometimes it takes them a while to respond to you and there is a lot of crazy's in the world that may want something you got and may go to extreme masseurs to get it.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people, they are just tools. Imagine a bad guy got this gun, how? there are many ways to get such offer and sell them later on or declare stolen.

Collecting weapons is something else. Weapons are meant to be used. Stacking them just make the time bomb closer to happens, if it's not from you it will be from someone close to you. Check the news, it's happening everywhere.
