moderator edit,
thnx publicraven:thmbup:
Just a little more instruction:
Download and unzip the folder.
Run mac.exe and wait until it says done. This will generate a .bin with a random mac address coded into it. The bin will be called "flash_me.bin" and will be in the same folder.
Load it to your Nova, use webloader or serial.
If it doesn't work, generate a new bin and load again. (4th bit of the mac address may not occur correct in all generations, just try again).
I hope you don't mind for my addition publicraven and I also added mojojojo's QUOTE below.
If you have more than one Nova please make sure that you run the Mac.exe file AGAIN for each Nova you want to program.
Running Mac.exe generates a custom flash_me.bin file that provides your Nova with a new, unique MAC address. This is why you can access the DN server after you load the new bin.
If you load the same flash_me.bin on another Nova they'll both have the same MAC address.
You can't have two devices in a network with the same MAC address!! If you do, there will be collisions and your IKS, webloader, etc. will go all wonky and won't work. It's like having two houses with the same house number on the same street. To which do you deliver the mail?
So if you have more than one Nova, here's what you do:
Run Mac.exe the first time
Rename the bin file generated to flash_me1.bin
Load this onto your first Nova
Run Mac.exe another time
Rename the bin file generated to flash_me2.bin
Load this onto your second Nova
etc
Just make sure you never load the same file on more than one receiver and you should be fine.
