Most Channels on DN Working! All Boxes! Nagravison 3 Offline!!!

In a rare freak of nature, most DN channels this morning open including PPVs and locals. Near 4am an IKS blackout was followed by just about every channel on 110 and 119 dropping all encryption, making them all viewable with IKS and non IKS boxes alone. Thats right even Pansat, Viewsat, Coolsat, Captain and every other STB working today! Obviously they will not keep it like this for long, so watch and record what you can while you can! Dust off those receivers collecting dust since June, and even those that have been out much longer. Essentially DN 110/119 is true free-to-air this morning! Enjoy while it lasts!

At approx 4AM ET my sub went down. I was on hold for 1 hour. They told me they were having a nation wide problem that all subs would see a error code 005 on there screen. This is why IKS or any kind of C/S or whatever you like to call it is down at this time. They said they have NO ETA.... could be a hour could be 12 hours.

Due to these problems it seems DN removed their entire N3 encryption system, but no one knows for how long. That means turn on any FTA unit you have lying around and watch anything you can NOW!

Yup. All boxes should be working at the moment no iks needed.
I unplugged my iks connection and everything is still working but
don't expect it to last.

Seems they have gone back to N2. Enjoy it while it lasts.

This is never a good thing. If history repeats it's self just a precursor for a black screen. They wouldn't risk pissing off all their subs unless they were up to something diabolical.

Don't worry about files...this is not a real thing to have...it's just a hiccup while they fix another problem they had.

yea the file doesnt matter at this point the encryption is turned off so as they start to fixx their problem and probably do some kind of rev update or a new emm to try to kill iks

Maybe you need factory default and rescan...especially since most folks were messing a bit while N3 kicked in.

i just disconnect nfusion and hookup pansat9200 and it start work didnt load no file. think the file no it is from 18-6-09. anyway about 3/4 movies channels up (edge, starz, encore, cinemax ,usa, etc and every local channel i select work, But NO ppv or adult.

also heard captiveworks 800pvr up in caribbean too.

File it´s not an issue at this moment, it´ll work with whatever bin you have

it may be dave, my friend but i pay dn, and the bill say dn and equipment says dn inside and outside.

well this is a treat thats for sure lol

if you wanna now what still up just do a fta scan .. the channels are wide open and only channels that are open will scan in ...saves you the trouble of finding them!!

Just went channel to channel through the 300's with my CW 600P and this is what I got:304,309,320,321,329,336,340,343,344,347,350,35 2,353,355 and 356.

Ho BEV do booboos on my sub too! But they don't clear channels for it!
Instead they give a rebate if you call to complain...

I'm seeing about a third true FTA, a third N2 and a third N3.

There doesn't seem to be any logical formula as to what works and what doesn't. HBO, Showtime work but home shopping junk doesn't. I'm thinking dish shot themselves in the foot with some kind of ECM aimed at IKS.

No ALL are N3. Just some and better than half still work. But I'm not seeing any porn or ppv channels open or N2.

some are up, some down, wait till tomorrow, for the blackout.

it looks like a group of hackers went after there online databases and have stolen a large amount of it. there not doing any new updating, there fixing what has been ripped apart.

I have been watching a lot of dn channels all day as I have re-aligning
and re-installing many dishes 2day 4 my friends...

I consider that this wont help the coders with the encryption because it's encryption-less, there is no hint o something that will give'm a light. just because we can watch tv it does not mean they can hack the system. If that would have been possible, then why didn't they do the same when n2 was available and some n3 channel's were kicking in?. answer you know already.

b.c CH455 is working on my SUB.

strange its almost like a FTA back in the days when n2 and when CH455 was wide open.

my viewsat is wide open, I can see about 500 channels even international channels.
