Hello to y'all from the middle of NOWHERE!

I live in a very, very small town in the middle of Central Texas, and I have been involved in testing for over a year.

I found this site... and I must admit, I read a while before joining... as I have not always found sites to be friendly to newbies. I joined because I find Kenmo, and the other moderators even handed... and the information offered here is top notch.

I look forward to getting to know y'all better... and working together to find answers to all our testing questions.

Welcome Chickenherder! inquiring minds want to know, Is it a soggy bra you wear?

It has rained 15 out of the last 18 days, and there is not much here that isn't soggy, or damp. It is like living in Seattle, but without the coffeehouses, grunge music, and tattoo addicts.

We are so far out in the country... that we have gotten 'mudded in' after heavy rains in the past, so, we have learned where to park in inclement weather. After a two year long drought... this is quite a change.

Does the old band "Soggy Bottom Boys" come from your neck of the woods?

Nice to meet you chickenherder,
I did some work down your way a few years ago and I really liked Texas, even if it is a bit muddy. I liked the wide open spaces and the small town feel in a lot of places.
Have fun here, you will enjoy it!

Does the old band "Soggy Bottom Boys" come from your neck of the woods?

I had to research that... and no, they do not.

The Foggy Bottom Boys were the inspiration for "The Soggy Bottom Boys" in the movie, "Brother, Where Art Thou?". They were from West Virginia.

There were a few country singers from this area... but none that I am familiar with, beyond Red Steagall.
