Ohio parents who say their children endured long, complicated walks home are panning the disruption of school bus service for a Hollywood movie shoot.

Scenes for a new Denzel Washington movie called "Unstoppable" are being filmed this week in Bellaire in eastern Ohio, 112 miles southeast of Cleveland.

Parents say children were dropped off at a shopping plaza on Wednesday when the filming kept a bus from completing its route. Gregory Jeffreys says his 12-year-old daughter wasn't sure how to walk home and it took her an hour. He says children were in danger.

The Bellaire school system is apologizing. Superintendent Tony Scott says the district should have notified parents about the bus diversion but "dropped the ball."

NOTE>
But these are the same kids will find them selfs miles away from there home to buy cell phones/games/movie theater and many more things for there own entertainment but yet complain walking home from school.

When I was a kid (I know, here we go with the stories ) we walked 3 miles to school (3 miles home too) through the farm fields and on rural roads. We walked everywhere.
God help these kids if there is ever a real crisis and nothing was available to chauffeur them around.
Small wonder there are so many chunky kids now.:)

I used to live in that town and still know a lot of people that live there. Unless that family moved, which I doubt, the girl had to walk no more than .5 miles to get home.

Where'd you get this from?
