Blacklist talked a lot about during the blackout last year and VS came buying the fix from Germany. I think he wants the spotlight because VS, CW came first last year.

Many of us have no reason to go through all threads for each different receiver every day, and I believe that this info applies to more than just that receiver. Just my $.02

I would totally understand if it was a post about bins not working. Those are getting annoying.

For those that were around during the introduction of Map 57, we take what BL says with more than a grain of salt. My "real" Pansat 2700 is still collecting dust from before that time. As a side note, I am still amazed that people are still taking the time converting obsolete receivers into 2700's. It's like converting a Lada into a Yugo...but to each their own I guess. My point is, don't pin your hopes on the ease of a solution, or a time frame, that BL is stating. And most certainly don't go out and buy a Pansat or other box he is now "supporting", unless you see actual working proof.

Excuse me for saying, I will not believe rumers that suggests a fix will be available for certain boxes that were hard to sell before this problem surface.
I'd like to see the bin file for that box before I rush into spending another bundle.
It's a good time to buy and sell receivers, buy good quality receivers for lower price and sell receivers that have been sitting in a warehouse for a while under the excuse of some rumers.
This ECM might take a while before fixed, but I trust the millions $$$ being spent on support to come up with a solution sooner or later.

I have switch to Viewsat, and am happier with it over my Pansat!

BUT Blacklist is no JOKE!! He is one of the few real coders and one of the people responsible for the mass switch over to FTAs.

Even if you don't have a Pansat he is helping you! the more types of boxes and fixes out there, the less foccusesd providers can be on targeting specific sources of programing or types of recievers. Be happy he is out there, and you can believe what he says, it's usually acurate!

BUT Blacklist is no JOKE!! He is one of the few real coders and one of the people responsible for the mass switch over to FTAs.

Even if you don't have a Pansat he is helping you! the more types of boxes and fixes out there, the less foccusesd providers can be on targeting specific sources of programing or types of recievers. Be happy he is out there, and you can believe what he says, it's usually acurate!

I have to agree with this statement 100%. Was not downing Blacklist one bit, just the Pansat product, way too buggy, but yes he is a great coder thats for sure. :thmbup:

well we need to let them concentrate on a long term fix. I would imagine if they stop to keep putting temp. fixes out that takes away from them trying to get a long term fix completed!
