Yup, this has been floating around on a few "card sites" for a few day's now. They tend to be right ...atleast in the last few ECM predictions(They 102/DVB guy's seem to be logging the stream 24/7)....lol......good thing I just invested in an iso programmer.

Thanks for the heads up! I am expecting one from B3V soon anyways, is due!:D And of course you'll see D!SH following a few minutes later. That's how is been for the past 3 or4 weeks. It will be over soon though, very soon! A little birdie told me! :D

Bev is still up for me ..... sort of. Video is phased to the right and color is way off !!

Hopefully I am wrong. But here is what happened. I had a faulty switch and now have to manually switch cables to go from one to the other. Everything was fine until I turned off the power button at the rear of the unit !!! :rolleyes: After I swapped cables and turned it back on ... VOILA !! Messed up signal .;( Tried turning it off and on a few times but no change .:eek:
My advice ... DON"T TURN IT OFF !!!!:|>

hope the coders smash this ecm in 60 seconds.

i am worryed bout it. got a 2 rom103 cards and a iso programer and a usb fta for my pc.since emulation seems to be up before fta box s.

Easy now fella. This is information sharing, and if you noticed, this info was posted in the rumour section. So.....take it for what it is, and if you can't, then take some of your own advice.

There is ALWAYS a ECM on it way! The providers are always trying to stop FTA. The problem is that they mess up some of there subscribers with every one, and it costs them in time, service, lost customers. So it is a trade off for them. They are trying to stop or at least slow down the FTA tidal wave.

I guess you guys don't get the picture ... heh ... too many people run the same type of box. FTA has made the hobby too easy and as of now they all run the same style code. Making it easy for Dish/Bell to stop millions of people very easily. Notice how the card guys barely go down. There in love with you guys because you keep the heat off them. Every time the FTA's have a fix. A ECM is close to follow.

Nothing that is that simple lasts forever, the masses hop on top of the bandwagon and makes an easy topic. They don't care if it costs money because the 1+ million FTA boxes go down with one simple click type deal. It isn't like we all run our own custom blocker etc etc. So one attack knocks down one set of people. One Attack knocks down the masses.

As long as FTA is point and click I think it's going to be quite the bumpy ride, while things like emulation (which is locking it's code because the FTA coders like to "use" it) and AUX cards are running smooth and have been going just fine.

Eh ... just an idea in the pot ... but realisticly ... FTA fix = new ECM ... it's been like that for almost 2 months now. Heck this is the first time a fix has been working for more then a few days. Cat and mouse is lots of fun and all, but it has gotten to the point where redundancy is almost required be it DVB/Card/nfusion/dreambox etc etc.

Just a statement, and a question. I have a VSUltra, used the last fix. Has been working awesome. Absolutely no freezing. In the last half hour, it has froze three times for about 30 to 45 seconds. Could this be BEV messing around? or just coincidence? By the way, thanks to all who had anything to do with the last fix.

Looks like I just went down about 3 minutes ago.

Now I'm up, just took about 2-3 minutes to autoroll after changing the channel. First time for that.

My xtreme did the same thing but its back up on b3v

My Coolsat 5000 and 6000 are both down for past 20 minutes. Its 3:15 EST here.

my CW-600 is down completely and my VS Ultra just freezes!

Well as fare as time goes I would sat that at 12 noon today Bev died compleatley for me on my coolsat4K. But theres also no new key. so its either no new key or Got a NUKE ECM.. I hope its not a need for a new bin... Life is Good. Location South Pole.

dn key changes evry 5 min on my ultra or maybe is just me , any one can confirm this?

The ECM has arrived I am running a Viewsat 2000 Plat. freezing is happening on all channels,picture for 2/3 min.then freezes up for 30 to 90 sec.keeps repeating.It was great while it lasted,Hope that the coders get a fix soon!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused::confused:

well this time no temp fix if his is a key change every 2-3 min only a full emu will help , hard times ahead of as , this time we might be out for long time :\

and it runnin great fast key change

Yea same here. Viewsat Ultra Watch T.V. for like 2-3mins then goes into AR then out for 2mins or so and then back again. I think I would rather just have it out all together.
But hey! get what you pay..... LOL

It's looking like another new ecm will happen today (guesstimate around 1pm EST).

Reported Map3b timing was being tested by B3V earlier in the week, actually 2 different map calls & 4 timer values, appear to be headed our way. The more calls and unknown timer values they throw into the mix, the more difficult it is for our coders to overcome. Brute forcing timer values may not be an option this time, but we won't know till they show us what they have planned. Once a map emu surfaces, and is fully functional, they'll have to get a lot more creative with their ecm's. These pesky Map/Timer combo's won't cut it. Till then we may have a bumpy ride.

Be smart, plan ahead for downtime. Record a few shows, or checkout some other sats while this chess game continues.
One thing is certain. This game WILL continue. Competition for market share WILL fuel solutions, and you can bet Coder Teams WILL scramble once again to show us who has the muscle to stay in the game. A lot of units WILL fall by the wayside over support issues, as providers step up their game. Be prepared & stay tuned right here for all the latest breaking news and further updates.

My SV's have not missed a beat yet on either provider with the latest bin......knock on wood!

:thmbup:Im not sure why, but both of my SVHD8000 are up and running nicely. ALL channels are up on both D!SH & B3V. I came from work around 9:30PM tonight, turn STBs on and had black screens all over, loaded latest softcam, and poofff.... got everything back up!
I mean EVERYTHING !!! Im watching "Passion of Mind" on Mpix HD right now @ 10:55pm EST. Oh My God Demi Moore still looks soooo good!!! :P

what im thinking is that the providers have maybe pulled their ecm out of the stream.maybe they had problems with subs or just thinking it might mess with us knowing it wont effect their subs.

I agree, it's happen before and it won't be the last. Both Bev and Dish is working fine on VS Ultra

ECM = Electronic Counter Measures. In simplier terms, the changes DN and B3V uses to stop the bins from working.

As another member remarked , possibly the last bin was causing problems for subs.

The symptoms seen in the 0108-1, looked like the timer and the CW were not syncing up.

Two bins that are working (fairly) well are 071226U and reportedly even better - the 071222U for VSU.

For now...

Anxiously anticipating the (fictional??) EMU!

dude u obviously don't test plastic....we don't run any AR blockers anymore unless u want to turn it into a nice little ice scraper. Having to change keys every other hour is not fun. DVB is where its at.
