Other sites are talking about a new ECM in the stream but not active. Have any of you guys in the know heard or seen if this is true?:read:

bev has reverted half their channels to Mecm40 and other half to Mecm60. This is causing half the bev channels with the VS Dec 22 and 26th files black while all channels working on bev with VS 01-08-08 half of then will be freezing

Is anyone keeping record of which box is managing the ECM best? I am begining to think that this is a relevant point of interest which could weed out the weak players and allow for more support for those who are winning. This would reinforce their coders efforts by providing more financial resources for their cause.

None of my SV's have even skipped a beat since the recent ecm's...I have 2 4k's and 1 1k

This new ECM that is supposed to hit will be small at best. Picture this, the providers are running out of options because of the recent splits on their ECM's. They are either testing out a new system (highly unlikely) or are shooting blanks in the dark at invisible targets. Either way they are trying to save the Titanic from sinking by using a teaspoon as a water bailer.......FTA is like the in laws at Christmas....you want them to leave but they never do......in other words.......FTA will not go away without the providers also shutting down the legit subscribers.

coolsat 7000 all ppv and international on dish are wide open.

viewsat ultra still up, not even a freeze since loading the newest file

1 short freeze on viewsat xtreme 10 minutes ago.

Same on Ultra - about a 30 second freeze 10 minutes ago.

Same Here! short freeze on Extreme now all seems fine, nfusion is on deck waiting so either way Im coverd.....I hope!!!

I've been watching my vs ultra for the past 3 hours. no flicker, no flash, no freeze ... no problems at all ... so far.

My CW 600 has been absouluty perfect... Even in the last few months it has been my most used stb..

I just got a CW 800 PVR and its very nice.

Right now all my STBs are running even my Neosat I 2000 PRO and my Extreme View Magnum 3300

My Nfusion has never missed a beat but thats not really fta... whole other subject.

However I only use my Nfusion when all else fails.

However CW has done a great job along with Sonic View... Also Emunation has been great. I think the coders did a great job compared to Black Tuesday a few years ago that was really nasty.

It seem's to be the provider, Bev=Down, Dish=up.

the bin fixes are up and down like a go go girl on a saturday night hahah.

Bell is at again all I have is the EPG fixed on autoroll..

my VS2K Ultra B3V died at 10:25 pm...I might try some of the other recent bins, 12/22, 12/24, 01/04, etc

If you find a working one, please post it, with version and DATE, as other members that don't have a VS can find a .bin around that date and try it.

Hey all,just tried 071207U working well so far very fast autoroll no frezze yet.

Bev is down on my CNX Mini. Dish is up.

As of minutes ago, Viewsat Pro freezing on B3V on latest fix.

Just a suggestion: if you have sound on regular channels (NOT HD, I mean...) try adding the latest keys.
