View Full Version : Hash Gone Bad?

I just went to the hash** site and it has this on the front page:
"Latest News February 10th 10:55 AM EST
Hash** is down for maintenance today.
While our forums are under maintenance, please visit our friends at TOTAL *** by clicking the following link: Viewsat FTA Receiver File Forums
Please stay tuned for updated information. Check back often for updates."
Direct links go to the fake total -- a site known to be run by dish -- and not the new hq total. Since both hash and total were named in the dish lawsuit, its starting to look like hash** is now under the control of dish as well. The owner of hash**, Paramount, posted last summer that dish had approached him with a buyout offer. It looks very much like they met his price.
For a while now, hash** has been selling a "3000 free channels" package that is freely available on the net. Just Google "IPTV". This was very unusual in that this was a known scam.:thmbdn:
So the bottom line is that it isn't safe to go to hash** or total*** right now as it looks very much like they have both been taken over by dish.
xbx09 02-11-2008, 05:49 PM I had a few grams of hash that I had lost and found over a year later, and it was still really good stuff.
Grandpooba 02-11-2008, 06:01 PM Sounds like you are still on it.
bigmik 02-11-2008, 06:03 PM It was obvious that something was wrong w/t them. Thanks for the info.
rob180sx 02-11-2008, 06:35 PM good info....looks like ftabins will be getting even more members as other sites become unsafe.
2bseen2 02-11-2008, 07:17 PM that site has been unsafe for a very very long time now

How would some one get the correct link to the real total
CausticSoda 02-14-2008, 08:37 PM How would some one get the correct link to the real total
A direct link is not allowed here, but if you know the old total***.*** address, you can change it to "TheTotal***.***" and it should transfer you to the total HQ site. Look at the address bar after you do this and it should say "hq" in the address somewhere.
I'm not 100% certain about the HQ site either, but they do have the same mods that were at the original total*** site and one of the bins had that address in the menu. It appears that they are legit for the moment.

ah hash I havent had that since the early 80s ! I could use some now !
CausticSoda 02-17-2008, 07:00 AM I just went over there and hash was gone. I'm not sure if its a permanent thing or if its just temporary. Their DNS records show that the record was deleted 2/16. Looks like dish really was running it.
dodgesonly 02-17-2008, 07:16 AM I've read to stay away from this site, not that I've been on it (just hope this helps) read previous threads on this matter.
chifut 02-17-2008, 10:01 AM You are wrong. The site is back.I just check it.
Quad139 02-17-2008, 10:04 AM Back in the day hash was the place to go now it's just truned into a place of bashing and hate there I have not been there in years.
funlove1234 02-17-2008, 11:07 AM Be very careful with all the BS going around. As I've gotten older I've realized sometimes it better to fight the temptation and sit back and wait.

People could learn a lot from your statement. :):clap:

It is back up as I type this. Still, they have admitted affiliation with dish total.
