I know a few Pansat owners who would like to watch a little TV... it has been a week since any files were released for them.
Be hilarious if Coolsat beat Pansat with the release of files...

What does Full EMU mean?

Means that you won't need to be loading your reciever very often, like what we have been doing. Hope this answers you question.

BL = Blacklist who is a coder for Pansat and satopia receivers..

EMU= emulation

emulation= imitation ..a copy of...
An emulator duplicates (provides an emulation of) the functions of one system using a different system, so that the second system behaves like (and appears to be) the first system. Emulation "tricks" the running software into believing that a device is really some other device. Emulation refers to the ability of a computer program or electronic device to imitate another program or device.



Full EMU = think of it like this,,,,,,U have car and transmission....the transmision breaks, and U tear it apart, learn how it works , take notes and save em, and completely rebuild it...know U know to it ticks and should have NO Problem getting it fixed if it breaks again..

You are correct. There never will be a UMU

BL has been in the game a very long time. He has come through with some pretty big stuff in the past...

Since the Pansat boxes do not have anything special in them hardware wise (unless the BL put the EMU magic on an AUX card) that other receivers do not have...


remember though... read the ROM sites.... full EMU does not mean no down time... there are still stream downloaded bytes of code... and they are encrypted... so simply letting them be downloaded and executed at the next key swap open the box up to loops and bad code... (read the ROM code sites to find out about card looping/etc). From reading those sites, the card guys prefer to see the unencrypted code bytes before they patch the card... you could expect the same sort of thing...

as for bl spelling well ive had pansat for a long time and been watching this game for ever and bl spelling and words have never been to good english,,,as for support i must say now i have different receivers but ive had my 2700 for years now and it still gets support from black list so in this respect you must take your hat off to this person he puts is neck out and says there will be a fix when the dark days are here lot of people laugh at him when he comes publick and says he will have fix ,,i remember when map 57 came in again people said its all over sure it was not the first time people said it was all over but blacklist came out and said he would have map57 figured out in time and everything would be wide open again and he did ,,,the support has been there for a long time and sure looks like he will be around for a while yet again my hat off to him

very well said couldn't have said it any better..lol these people dont seem to understand how hard it is to code. not just code but pretty much its like tryin to reverse engineering something without the steps. they work long and hard to code, test, and fix. lol i bet u half the people here can't even code so imagine if they were asked to reverse engineer. pretty funny how these people just beg for bins and talk shit when there isn't a fix yet for a current emu.

FLU = Fortec Lifetime Ultra
Serial = The file is for updating via the Serial Port. Not via JTAG
2500 to 2700 = Pansat 2500s converted to Pansat 2700 (and in this case its clones)
Remote issue = The same bin can be used regardless of which remote (Pansat 2500 or Fortec) you are using.

Pantec = A receiver brand. Uses Pansat 2500 clone bins.
Fortec = A receiver brand. in this topic usually refers to the FLU (see above)Uses Pansat 2500 clone bins.

There is also a bin for converted receivers using a real Pansat 2700 remote. Most of us have either P2500 or Fortec remotes.

Both are usually good. They are done by excellent coders for the same converted receivers.
I do not test, :sly: but I heard of one guy who this time chose the Jvvh(F7)_Fortec-2500-Pantec_250 bin and is happy with it.
