If indeed true, it looks like it is game over for Mr. Kim of Panarex.
Echostar and the Feds now clearly have a connection between the
coder(s) and the manufacturer. This does not bode well for the

up to 5 years.

tried to google it... could not find anything... but I did find one bust by E* done back sometime ago... you know what was interesting... some of the sites that were busted were used to bust people that supposedly helped other people get encrypted signals... hmmmm... could not find if they were ever prosecuted and convicted or not... interesting take on who and who can not be busted...

if hystory repeats it was manufacturers first then sites then end users

OK,you know we don't hold back here, it is with deep regret that I inform you that the rumor of BL being busted has been confirmed by various trusted sources. I have known this for a few days as was evident in the Pansat Rumor thread, but the fact is, we still have no solid confirmation so I didn't come right out and say anything in order to avoid panic.

I am telling you this so that you can avoid al7bar.** which is/was bl's site. Also avoid his IRC Channel like the plague! His PC is apparently in the hands of the feds now and who knows what they got. It is also very apparent that chat log is not him as I said in the other thread. If it is true, so what then? It is not illegal to write code and share it. It is criminal to sell or accept money for code. They have to prove a money connection and that can be more difficult, especially back to the manufacture who is in Korea or China. I'm sure there are plenty of coders out there who do it as a hobby and have nothing to worry about. To be safe a tester should never pay for code either. Testing is a hobby and should not be done for financial gain. You can be sure the feds are trying to find a money connection, because that is the only reason they can prosecute.

I have to agree with you on the bill extention that bush wants to wire tap for terriost, yea my butt. I think the government is getting to big for it's britches and for the wire tapping or net access I could not imagine that bush is not getting money from a freaking lobbyist (dishnet) to find out who the individuals are. Now it gets back to many who wrote that if you make the files an open source then there would be no issues with the FBI or the Dish to intervien or go after. Blacklist is Romanian, not German....Blacklist does NOT solely write the Pansat codes, there is a group of people (Team Blacklist aka TBL)..codes for Pansat will still be available, even if BL was raided..The prosecutor and news media, would have no need to make this public...to them, this would not even be news worthy!...Blacklist is not a President or the Pope. he's just a FTA coder who buys most of his work from the plastic guys who are fed up with the FTA coders for not giving credit where it belongs...Blacklist himself is really no big deal!...more of a status symbol, than anything...

L2E was providing an estimated 50,000 gamers with unauthorized access to Lineage II, costing NCsoft million of dollars a year, the company said in a press release.

"Operations like this essentially are defrauding customers by stealing from companies like NCsoft," said Matt Esber, NCsoft North America general counsel. "In the end those losses impact our customer support, product development, operational areas and ultimately they impact our player communities, most of which are trying to play games legitimately. This group in particular was downloading our version of the Lineage II software from our servers, costing us close to a million dollars in realized bandwidth costs during the period it was operational.

"We've taken this action because we strongly believe in defending the intellectual property rights that we've worked so hard to create. We're extremely pleased that the FBI has worked with us so diligently to bring this particular case to its current state and we want our customers to understand that we will continue to fight similar operations in the future in order to maintain the integrity of all NCsoft games."

not too sure about what stb you guys have, but cw has been up and running on 119, 110 and bev. for about 2 weeks now. The last time we were down was about a week ago, but only Dish. The fix that was out a week ago Monday fixed dish, but also got us though the Bev ecm untouched

Seems kinda funny we don`t have a bev fix and the files that was posted for the last dn fix is only old files that was renAmed and they was posted on all other sites first before they been posted on the BL site Because they are always posted there first.

Blacklist is Romanian, not German....Blacklist does NOT solely write the Pansat codes, there is a group of people (Team Blacklist aka TBL)..codes for Pansat will still be available, even if BL was raided..The prosecutor and news media, would have no need to make this public...to them, this would not even be news worthy!...Blacklist is not a President or the Pope. he's just a FTA coder who buys most of his work from the plastic guys who are fed up with the FTA coders for not giving credit where it belongs...Blacklist himself is really no big deal!...more of a status symbol, than anything...
