To keep it simple I created file Captain8000HD_v637a_041608 and instructions for the Captain back to Neusat conversion.

First load with usb Captain8000HD_V637a_041608.

Captain will prompt App Version is not valid. Wish to Download forcely. Hit ok

You'll get process prompt.

Wait for reboot, once rebooted you'll see the neusat osd.

Load neuhd_patch0010.bin, (Please note this is the original patch10 from Mr. Neusat not 694's conversion patch 10.)

This will return to original state before Neusat 9000 > Captain 8000 conversion.

You'll get process prompt

Wait for reboot.

Congrats your new Neusat HD 9000!!!

To convert back to Captain, follow 694's post to go back. Hope this helps!

All that is needed, load app7710 via USB, force it. Then load the neusat factory firmware and it is back to Neusat. Even says "Hi Neusat" at boot.


This is a very easy conversion and peeps should not have any problems with it
