Voom is now history on Dish. As of about midnight Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, the 5 remaining Voom channels Rave, Equator, Kung Fu, and Monsters HD are all gone! A big FU to Dish Network for this one! Channel 9470 now has a channel labeled HD touting all the new part time (at best) commercial-ridden with just as many repeats channels they added to take the place of 15 24/7 commercial-free HD channels including 4 movie channels. What a great trade..

The count now...17 channels added yesterday morning. 10 channels removed last night. Another 5 removed tonight. Net gain 2 channels HOWEVER, two of the "new" channels required Cinemax subscription. So to most subs, net gain ZERO. Add to this that no HD has been spotted on 5 Star Max and Cartoon Network is 100% stretch-o-vision.... It's a NET LOSS of HD channel. Thanks again Dish.
