Guys I need your help, I got a acer LapTop which is having Password on HDD. When ever I start the LapTop it will ask at begining to ENTER HDD PASSWORD then the Windows will start. But I forgot the Password on it, because I was not using for a long time. So I tried a lot diffrent ways to Re-Installed WinXP, but it says HDD is not accessiable. So can any body let me know How I can Unlock this HDD, so that I can Re-Installed WinXP again on it...

it may work if not, I would just contact Acer...you use to be able to pull battery and short

connectors for a couple of seconds to clear a bios and just start over but

this new stuff, I would be lying to try to tell you for sure....call ACER..really
