Two satellite television giants are suing a Winnipeg based provider for five-million dollars each alleging the business is helping customers steal pay per view events.

Direct TV and Bell Express Vu claim Freeway Support Services is fraudulently selling so-called grey market technology that helps its customers unlawfully receive and decode programming signals.

The suits are asking a court to prevent the company from distributing the alleged services in Canada and the U--S. Direct and Bell are also seeking the names and addresses of Freeway's customers and suppliers.

A representative of the defendant declined comment.

The allegations have not been proven in court.

More of the same. Those two monopolies has a very poor record in court everywhere. They will not be able to obtain any record of single use costumers. That's against the right of legal FTA users. Follow the case and you'll see the result. They are wasting their time and in the process trying to scare people, that's all they can do. A retarded lawyer could win that case.

-Thanks for the info.....Can a court make Freeway give out peoples address?
If so all Freeway as to do is wipe out all address before court comes up....That's
what I would do....... Freeway needs to hide that info before any court orders
them to do so.
