Guess I'll be the first to try out this part of the forum :). Someone claiming to be Mr. Viewsat joined one of the FTA irc chans yesterday stating he was the owner of Viewsat (he was said to have been the real deal according to a Channel Operator). Mr. Viewsat said he"ll be receiving HD receiver samples next month and we should see a Viewsat HD Receiver in time for christmas. He also stated Viewsat was ready for the next ECM and that the PVR files will show up in the next day or so. Who else is happy to hear this great news assuming it really was Mr. Viewsat.

HD would be awesome!!! DN has better selection of HD channels than DTV. I sub to DTV and wish for more HD channels. I would pay up for HD capable receiver from viewsat - now im very happy with Platinum.

I'm supper happy cuz Viewsat is #1 (currently owner of a Viewsat Extreme) right now and if they come out with an HD receiver then they will really out beat the competition. I personally was planning to buy a Pansat HD receiver but if Viewsat comes out with one then 4 sure I'll go with Viewsat.
