Fact of life: If you don't know what the problem is, you're in no position to find a solution. If you are misinformed as to what the problem is, you will always come up with the wrong solution. How do you tthink we got here in the first place?

"GM will be allowed to pay as little as $14 to $15 an hour to employees in non-manufacturing jobs that once paid as much as $28 as hour, as openings come up. Those jobs were prized by older workers who were able to become forklift drivers or janitors after years of physically demanding work on assembly lines."hxxp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/09/26/AR2007092600155.html

(1) If you can find a credible link to that $79.00 per hour + insurance crap, please share it with us.

(2) How do feel about the argument that the contracts governing CEO bonuses are untouchable because they are legally binding contracts but the contracts with the Unions can be broken even though they are also legally binding contracts. That the rich cannot be shafted but the average American worker can always be shafted?

(3) Just so you know how the industry works, the Unions are not the ones who decide the kind of lead sleds they make.
