RCMP defend Taser use on girl, 16

Guys, policemen are trained to consider citizens if not an enemy an opponent.
It is us against them, good vs. bad, is not the fault of a particular officer, so be aware that they rule using fear instead of cooperation, they can have an excuse but you can't.
So turn the other way don't give them a reason to approach you and every one will be happy while they take off their frustrations at night on their wives and kids

In reference to all juviniles or even adults you need to take into consideration several thing.

1. The size of ther person.
2. Their physical abilities.
3. Their state of mind.
4. What are they doing.
5. Would they be harmed more by four officers trying to take control of her or by
a quick tazer to get her under control.
6. What are your surroundings.

These questions need to be asked about ever situation.
I have been trained and certified with the tazer.

I would use a tazer on a juvinile just as quick as an adult because some are bigger more physical and could do more harm to you or themselves.

I did not see any where (maybe i just did not see it) where these questions were answered in reference to the original post.

I have even been tazed in my training and the only physical injury was two mark from the probes. Mental damage was that it was shocking(lol) how quick it made my body go totally limp.

Just like any tool law enforcement has there needs to be training.

After our agency tazed a couple of well needed citizens the word got around and all we had to do was usually just display it.

I know you can get injuried from just trying to sudue some one (even a juvinile) because I have had to have surgery on shoulders but wrestiling some one.

its still a matter of comparing out of control kids and what they are capeable of.
to say "this poor little girl in manitoba" is wrong.
go walk the streets in winnipeg at midnight and look at those poor harmeless 16 year old girls that would stab you in the back for a hit of meth.
when you take all the fear and care out of a teenager they become just as if not more dangerous than your average adult.
our justice system babies girls and woman in general with penalties for crime and untill the punishment has some fear behind it they will do as they please.

A 14-year-old girl who allegedly told police she tortures animals and is "fascinated by death" was charged Friday with attempted murder after police said she tried to kill another teenager living at her Fitchburg foster home.

Noa M. Jensen was charged as an adult with attempted first-degree intentional homicide for trying to stab a 16-year-old girl Wednesday afternoon at the home. Jensen is a Rock County resident who was placed in the foster home as a Child in Need of Protective Services, Assistant District Attorney Vanny Lu said in court Friday.
According to a criminal complaint, nobody was injured in the attack, which ended when a Fitchburg police officer arrived and twice threatened to use his Taser on Jensen if she did not put down a knife she was holding.

When the incident was over, the complaint states, Jensen told a police detective, "When I'm (angry), I don't think. All I think about is murder."

Jensen is being held on $10,000 bail at the Dane County Juvenile Reception Center, though an official from Rock County Human Services asked Court Commissioner Dan Floeter if it was possible to send her back to Rock County.

According to the complaint:
The 16-year-old girl told police that she confronted Jensen for telling others about a personal matter. Jensen denied it and they began to argue. Jensen said to her foster mother, "I should get a knife and kill (the girl)."

Jensen went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. She lunged at the girl over a coffee table and tried to stab her. The girl kicked Jensen in the stomach, causing her to fall and drop the knife. Jensen grabbed a second knife from the kitchen and threw it at the girl. It hit her but did not cause any injuries.

The girl ran upstairs, locked herself in a bathroom and called 911. Jensen continued to yell that she was going to kill the girl in her sleep. She tried to follow the girl upstairs with a knife but struggled with her foster mother.

Speaking later with Detective Kenneth Folkers, Jensen said she still wanted to kill the girl.

"I swear to God, if I don't calm down, I will kill her tonight in her sleep," she said. And if her foster mother hadn't intervened, she said, "I would have killed her."

Jensen said that in the past, she had drugged the coffee of a former foster mother and had once walked up to her with a knife and thought about stabbing her to death.

She also talked about catching birds and killing them with a bat, strangling squirrels, pulling apart frogs and trying to hang a family dog because it was it was "babied" by family members.

She sounds like a real charmer. The way she is going she wont see 16. Not outside a prison at best, at worst someone will take her down!
Not everyone is wired right. Very sad.

Hey Keith Im from the North End in Winnipeg and the cops are just as bad as the criminals. If its not using tasers on kids, its killing people while drunk driving. As for going out after midnight, I do it all the time. Most people I know dont hide inside afraid of 16 year old girls.

I agree....something just don't sound right with the whole state of mind of today's youth..
could it be their upbringing....some of the older folks in this world don't stray to much from the younger generation.......GOD help us all..............
